Very soft, felted shawl in 100% supersoft Merino lambswool. This shawl has a large scale zig zag pattern and cut, felted short tassles along the edge. In this shawl I have experimented with floats on the back side of the knit. Floats are what the strands of yarn that are created when the pattern has large sections between colours, the floats are cut before felting which creates an irregular, textured pattern on the wrong side of the fabric.
The shawl is a bit shorter than my usual creations and can be worn over the shoulders or crossed over in the front for extra warmth on chilly days!

Material: 100% soft non-mulesing Merino wool
Colour: One-colour blocks in teal and patterning in a creamy, oaty white and melange yellow.
Size: 35cm x 150cm
Washing: Hand wash with liquid detergent for wool. Dry flat and iron with steam on a wool setting. This scarf will get more textured after wash, which can be ironed out with steam.
