Description
Fitted 100% wool jumper with raglan sleeves and the pattern “Seed of Life” = Livets frö on the sleeves. The jumper has wide, folded sleeve cuffs and rolling edges at neck and bottom hem.
OBSERVE: Bottom hem is in navy blue, not aubergine red as in model pictures.
Livets Frö = Seed of Life
This pattern is inspired by the hand carved wooden boxes found in Härjedalens Fjällmuseum – a museum in the northern town of Funäsdalen in Sweden. These wooden boxes are thought to have been used to store valuables by the travelling salespeople when they travelled between Sweden and Norway selling their goods. This kind of round pattern is used all over the world, most commonly assumed to portray the “seed of life”. Theese depictions of stylized plants, seeds is often used as a protective pattern, hand carved to keep things safe, like a good luck charm.
