Knitted and sewn beanie hat with a hand-stitched folded edge. The hat is knitted with the pattern Kotte and comes in one size fits most. The hat has a snug fit, perfect for chilly winter winds. With a wide, folded edge it keeps the ears warm throughout any winter freeze.
Mössa för våren 2025 med mönstret Kotte. Mönstret är inspirerat av dräktsilvret i Norrbottensdräkten från 1912 – då inspirerad av “Norrbottens allvarstyngda barrskog”. Mössan är stickad i 100% mulesing-fri merinoull, ihopsydd med handsydd viktkant nedtill.
The pattern Kotte
The hat is patterned with a new pattern for 2025: Kotte. This pattern is inspired by the metal buttons and silver brooch belonging to the Norrbotten Traditional dress. This dress was created in 1912 by a committee in Luleå who saw inspiration for the brooch in the deep fir forests of this northernmost part of Sweden. Kotte means cone, this one specifically from fir trees.
Material: 100% Mulesing-free Merino lambswool
Washing: Hand wash with liquid detergent for wool. Dry flat and iron with steam on a wool setting. This hat will get more textured after wash, which can be ironed out with steam.
